He graduated with a degree in General Medicine from the Faculty of General Medicine at Charles University in Prague in 1988. Since 1989, he worked at the 2nd Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Faculty of Medicine of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University (UPJŠ) in Košice. In 1991, he completed his 1st-degree Board Certification in Gynecology and Obstetrics in Bratislava, followed by his 2nd-degree Board Certification in the same field at the Slovak Medical University
(SZU) in Bratislava in 2004. In 2009, he successfully defended his doctoral thesis (PhD) in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Faculty of Medicine of UPJŠ.
From 2001 to 2007, he worked as an Assistant Professor at the 2nd Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of UPJŠ Faculty of Medicine and the Louis Pasteur University Hospital (UNLP) in Košice.
From 2007 to 2016, he worked in the Department of Gynecology at the East Slovak Institute of Oncology (VOU, a.s.), where he served as Deputy Head Physician.
He successfully passed the subspecialty examination in Reproductive Medicine and completed specialized training stays at the Clinic of Reproductive Medicine in Zlín and the Institute for the Care of Mother and Child in Prague. He is the author and co-author of numerous scientific articles and lectures in the field of gynecology and obstetrics.
